The Montgomery Clean City Commission, AARP Alabama, MAX Credit Union and Gilmore Services will team to offer a free paper shredding/recycling event on Friday, Nov. 21, at the Paterson Field parking lot from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is open to anyone wishing to safely dispose of documents in an environmentally friendly manner. There is no cost, but participants are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item, which will benefit the Montgomery Area Food Bank.
